For this track, I aimed for something special. While the composition itself may not seem extremely impressive at first glance, the way it was created is quite unique and rooted in video game music techniques, though with a twist. This 3 minutes piece was designed as a single instance, but it’s unique every time you play it because the music is procedura and controls the movement depending on the states of the emotions happening.

Using Wwise, I adapted the music with states and switches to generate a different version with each playthrough. The structure remains similar, but the instrumentation, effects, and chord placements vary every time. I also added small melodic elements that can appear randomly during the "main" section, creating unexpected moments. The result is a track that could play for 20 minutes or more without repeating itself exactly. This was my creative approach for the jam: crafting a dynamic, ever-evolving track that adapts every time you play the game.

For the game’s theme, I combined inspiration from The Far Reaches and The Picture to create a modern sound infused with traditional Japanese elements. The envisioned game is a walking simulator where the player endlessly falls into a deep abyss. The journey begins in near-total darkness, but as you descend, the world gradually reveals its details, culminating in full light at the end.

I had another track idea in mind but only had time to complete this one.
